Since the Air Hammer is a high speed pneumatic tool, trouble free use is best obtained by using a 3/8″ or larger air filter and lubricator. However, the Air Hammer may be used (but not recommended) without an air filter or lubricator by following these important instructions:

• With Filter – Make certain your air lines (both pipe and hoses) are free of foreign matter such as rust particles, etc. Foreign matter causes internal scarring and O-ring damage.
• Without Lubricator – oil several times daily wihta  light non-detergent 6 to 10 weight oil through the air fitting at the tool. Lack of lubrication will cause loss of power and damage to the internal parts of the Air Hammer.
